The 2026 edition of the Bath Duathlon provided another competitive duathlon for youth and junior racing on its 14th edition. With draft legal racing on the Odd Down bike circuit in Bath, the Youth and Junior fields attracted top athletes from around the South West and beyond for fast racing over the super sprint distance.

In the Youth and Junior female race Olive Geary led into T1 with the fastest Run 1 split, with Sophie Maxwell and Freya Smith close behind, all running just a little over 10 minutes for the 3km run. With T1 allowing for close racing over the 8 lap bike course it was tied at the top heading into T2 to finish with a short 1.5km final run. Olive Geary looked to pull away on the final run with a small gap for the fastest final run split to take the Youth and Junior win, with Sophie Maxwell finishing 2nd just 6s behind and Freya Smith taking 3rd.

Niclas Olley and Tom Webb in the open race took the first run from the front heading into T2, with a similar scene to the Chilly Duathlon two weeks before playing out. Not far behind though Henry White and Will Birchall followed, a little over 5s back with the rest of a strong sized field following. Over the 12km bike and 8 laps to contest with, Olley pulled away with the fastest bike split of the race by over half a minute whilst Webb retained his position into T2 to start the final run in 2nd. The remainder of the race saw close finishes for the final podium spots and following positions, with Niclas Olley crossing 1st, Tom Webb 2nd and Will Birchall 3rd.
